About The Position

Health Link Home Health and Hospice has been a trusted provider of comprehensive home health services throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area and East Bay for nearly two decades. We are expanding our team and are seeking compassionate, organized Licensed Home Health Aide (HHA) in multiple territories to provide essential personal care services in patients’ homes. In this role, you will collaborate with our Clinical Manager, clinical staff, and office team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. This position is available part-time or per diem and offers a flexible schedule to support work-life balance. At Health Link, teamwork is at the heart of what we do. Compensation is based on experience and territory assignment: Alameda County & West Contra Costa County Pay Rate: $25-$28 per hour Coverage Area: Oakland/San Leandro/Berkeley/Richmond/San Pablo East Contra Costa County Pay Rate: $25-$28 per hour Coverage Area: Antioch/Pittsburg/Brentwood TriValley Area Pay Rate: $25-$28 per hour Coverage Area: Dublin/Livermore/Pleasanton/San Ramon/Danville Why Health Link Collaborative and inclusive company culture Flexible scheduling Competitive compensation packages

Requirements

  • Valid California HHA License (HCA or CNA not accepted)
  • Minimum 1 year of HHA or caregiving experience
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to monitor vital signs and collect specimens
  • Knowledge of basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Caring, compassionate, and professional demeanor
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to cover a 15–25 mile radius

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.)
  • Support ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Monitor patient safety and use medical equipment correctly
  • Provide skin care to prevent tissue breakdown
  • Take and record vital signs
