Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Five years of experience in a management/supervisory capacity in a healthcare or long-term care community
• Current valid South Carolina Nursing Home Administrator's license
• Intermediate computer skills

Responsibilities

• Build strong, compassionate relationships with residents and their families
• Ensure residents' rights, including privacy, confidentiality, and fairness, are upheld
• Manage community funds responsibly, protecting residents' and families' financial interests
• Address resident complaints and grievances, documenting findings and actions taken
• Execute marketing strategies to maintain optimal occupancy levels
• Support the recruitment and selection of directors, supervisors, consultants, and staff
• Oversee employee training on organizational policies, procedures, and long-term care regulations
• Interpret and enforce laws, standards, and guidelines governing long-term care facilities
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in the long-term care field
