About the position

Here at Ellie we are looking for a therapist who is able to utilize and integrate a client's interests as a platform for growth and progress. The therapist must possess social knowledge around contemporary media, videogames, literature, and geekdom as well as being inquisitive towards learning more as it relates to the client's experience. These skills will lead to a fully integrated model around Affinity, Resonance, and Understanding. Our therapists are highly compensated (base hourly pay and profit sharing). They also have the flexibility to manage their own caseload at a reasonable level to focus their efforts in a warm, inviting office. Ellie Mental Health is a highly successful multi-clinic organization focused on the movement to end the stigma, fill the gaps and bring greater innovation to mental health. Ellie clinics are structured to remove many of the daily obstacles that get in the way of providing world-class mental health treatment. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose behavioral health issues, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including additional diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
  • Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and essential to your role

Requirements

  • Candidates should be fully licensed mental health professionals with a valid state of Tennessee license
  • Prefer experience with children, adolescents, teens, and/or adults
  • Prefer experience with couples, families, trauma, substance abuse, and/or schools
  • Prefer a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation
