Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in fire alarm or low-voltage systems preferred
  • Hold current FAL license
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain any required state licensure within 90 days.
  • Proficiency with standard and trade-specific tools and testing equipment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
  • Safely lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
  • Work effectively in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Nice To Haves

  • NICET Level I or higher certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, service, and maintain a variety of fire alarm systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems as needed, including emergency or warranty calls.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and testing in accordance with NFPA and local standards.
  • Coordinate work efficiently with project managers, property managers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all job site safety and compliance protocols.
  • Occasionally travel to other regions based on project needs.
