About The Position

As a licensed electrician, with either your journeyman or master license, you will lead jobs, crews, projects, and apprentice electricians in order to complete electrical work on new construction projects, in both residential and multi-family buildings.

Requirements

  • Must have valid journeyman or masters license from the State Board of Electrical Examiners.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent communication skills to be used when working with builders, general contractors, and project managers
  • Ability to work 6am to 5pm Monday thru Friday and an occasional Saturday
  • Journeyman and Master Electricians must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, local city and national electrical codes, practices, and procedures within the electrical field
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50–75 lbs independently
  • Mobility and Agility: Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (like crawlspaces or attics), and kneeling or crouching for extended periods
  • Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and components with precision
  • Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–12 hour shift, often in varying weather conditions or non-climate-controlled environments

Responsibilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Leading and empowering individuals within your respective team
  • Oversee quality within your project(s)
  • Manage subcontractors being utilized for the job
  • Inspect, install, modify, repair, and maintain electrical fixtures in gas, water, and drainage systems according to applicable building codes
  • Communicate with builders, general contractors, and project managers
  • Build and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines
