The Department of Psychology at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Counselor (LPC or LCSW) to join our team of psychologists and counselors. This is a full-time, 32-hour per week position dedicated exclusively to our Day Neuro program in Fort Worth. The schedule for this position will be weekdays 8:00AM to 5:00PM with no weekend or evening hours. At our company, we support your career growth and personal well-being. Requirements
- Master’s degree appropriate to position.
- Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to integrate into a transdisciplinary team environment.
- BLS certification required (may be obtained upon hire)
Nice To Haves
- experience in a medical or rehabilitation setting and enjoy providing individual, group, and family counseling
Responsibilities
- Providing individual, family, and group therapy
- Facilitating psychoeducational and functional groups
- Offering patient/family education on emotional adjustment and recovery
- Participating in co-treatments with other disciplines
- Involvement in team conferences and family conferences
- Collaborating closely with psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy
