About The Position

VOACC is seeking licensed Mental Health Therapists for our MD Hope Center! As an independent contractor, you are able to set your own hours and schedule. Clinicians take a minimum of 25 billable hours per week. This position will report to the Clinical Director and will provide services designed to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis and can be provided in-home, in-office, in-school or other approved/appropriate community setting.

Requirements

• A Masters degree in a Mental Health field (e.g.: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling)
• LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC or LCPC Licensure/Certification or Provisional Licensure/Certification Eligible
• Deliver TeleMed services and where critical, deliver essential in-home or in-office services.

Responsibilities

• Provides intensive clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis.
• Provides psychoeducational activities/interventions designed to assist the client of the reduction of dysfunction.
• Services are provided with client-centered and family-centered approaches and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal specific interventions.
• Complete all required documentation on a timely basis including psychosocial assessments, progress notes, referrals, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
