About this role: Our Clinic Based Licensed Clinician helps to support our mission and team so we can work in the most efficient and effective way. This position is a vital part of a multidisciplinary team within our Federally Qualified Health Center(FQHC) to address the whole needs of individuals seeking primary care services. Licensed Clinician will work closely with a medical team of prescribers, nurses, and community health workers to improve patient health outcomes utilizing evidence-based practices. The Location and hours: A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the following counties: Marion Co or Franklin Co. Full time. Monday - Friday

Requirements

  • Masters degree
  • Must be a Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Fully Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation

Responsibilities

  • Should be comfortable with the pace of primary care, working with an interdisciplinary team, and have strong communication skills.
  • Provide assessment, consultation, and brief intervention for psychological/psychiatric problems and/or disorders.
  • Will complete comprehensive intake assessments, provide effective treatment planning, and assisting clients in successfully achieving goals.
  • Will provide short-term therapy for Clinic Based Clients.
  • Ability to work through brief patient contacts as well as to make quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral conditions.
