We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinicians with experience working with children, adolescents, and families to join our Mobile Response Stabilization Services Team (MRSS) in Prince George’s County. The Clinician will be a part of a multidisciplinary Stabilization and Support team that maintains a caseload of youth providing intensive support to youth, families, and school staff. Meets with other multidisciplinary team members regularly to discuss treatment plans and outcomes. Stabilization period is for up to 8 weeks (about 2 months). MRSS was developed to provide effective responses to mental health crises and to divert individuals from unnecessary legal system involvement and/or hospitalization. Our MRSS Team is involved in providing immediate crisis intervention, clinical evaluation, collaboration with internal or external therapists, referral to other agencies, and advocacy for any treatment deemed necessary beyond the initial crisis. As a MRSS Clinician, you will lead the team toward excellence in clinical assessment; care and stabilization of individuals in crisis; and management of crisis scenes. You will lead and work alongside peer support staff in responding to crises throughout PG County public schools, playing a critical role in our mission to save lives in the community.
