About The Position

The position involves conducting comprehensive assessments of the physical and social environments of patients to determine practical plans for eliminating undesirable conditions. A significant portion of the workweek will involve direct face-to-face interaction with clients. The role requires regular meetings with a clinical LCSW Supervisor to discuss clinical social work practice. The position also includes observing patients in various situations, administering and interpreting psychological tests, and formulating treatment plans for psychological disorders. The professional will assess patient progress, modify treatment programs as necessary, and communicate with family members regarding treatment. Documentation of therapy must adhere to policies regarding medical records and patient confidentiality. The role includes providing crisis intervention, participating in educational programs, and may involve developing clinical research programs. Additionally, the LCSW/LPCC may instruct and direct students serving internships at the clinic, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • Completion of MSW program from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure in Kentucky as an LCSW.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and social environments.
  • Engage in direct face-to-face interaction with clients for a minimum of 60% of the workweek.
  • Meet with clinical LCSW Supervisor for a minimum of two hours every two weeks.
  • Observe patients in various situations and administer psychological tests.
  • Diagnose disorders and formulate treatment plans.
  • Select appropriate treatment approaches and plan therapy frequency, intensity, and duration.
  • Assess patient progress and modify treatment programs as needed.
  • Communicate with and counsel family members as appropriate.
  • Document therapy in accordance with medical record policies.
  • Provide crisis intervention when immediate treatment is required.
  • Participate in educational programs and clinical meetings for professional development.
  • Develop and implement clinical research programs as needed.
  • Instruct and direct students serving internships at the clinic.
  • Adhere to corporate compliance program terms and HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
