About The Position
Adelphi is seeking licensed mental health clinicians to provide mental health support for pre - K5 students at a school in Waldorf, Maryland. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy and staff consultation.
Requirements
- Have a master's degree or higher
- Relevant state of Maryland certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant service field.
- Have experience working with children/adolescents and families
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling.
- Deliver in -person behavioral health services to identified students.
- Provide substance abuse prevention, early intervention, and referral resources.
- Maintain high -quality documentation, notes, and service logs.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with district data security requirements.
- Consult regularly with teachers, school psychologists, counselors,social workers,and pupil personnel workers.
- Attend relevant school meetings regarding students on caseload.
- Communicate effectively and consistently with school and district staff.
- Offer staff training on mental health topics including trauma -informed care and behavioral health needs.
- Provide ongoing information on community -based resources for students and families.
- Conduct monthly parent enhancement workshops.
- Provide family communication and support as needed.
- Participate in evening parent workshops when scheduled
- Perform other duties as assigned
