About The Position

Adelphi is seeking a licensed clinical social worker to provide mental health services to offenders in correctional institutions throughout North Carolina. Services include MH assessments, screenings, individual counseling, and aftercare planning. Requirements

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina LCSW license in good standing.
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year post -graduate experience.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with correctional or public behavioral health systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to mentally ill offenders housed at selected facilities in NC.
• Conduct initial mental health assessments and psychosocial evaluations of offenders in custody.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to diverse offender needs.
• Participate in behavioral programming and aftercare planning to support reentry and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA -compliant documentation in the HERO electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with correctional facility staff and external treatment agencies to coordinate offender care.
• Comply with all Facility's security procedures, clinical policies, documentation standards, and ethics regulations.
