About The Position

Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to provide psychosocial care, counseling, and advocacy for individuals facing mental health and substance abuse challenges. This hybrid position offers a flexible schedule-three days onsite and two days remote-allowing you to balance meaningful patient interaction with work-life flexibility.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Active LICSW license in good standing.
• 3-5 years of clinical social work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or certification in Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT) or Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments to identify mental health and substance use challenges.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to support emotional and mental well-being.
• Advocate for patients by addressing social determinants of health and connecting them with essential community resources.
• Offer caregiver and family support to promote family cohesion and prepare loved ones for end-of-life care.
• Assist patients experiencing domestic violence, abuse, or financial/legal difficulties, ensuring appropriate interventions and referrals.
• Participate in clinical case reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and educational seminars to stay at the forefront of social work best practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation while upholding ethical and compliance standards.
