A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) contributes to AHF by bringing their expertise mental health lens in working with the diverse populations served in our medical centers. The LCSW works collaboratively with the patient to improve their health and social outcomes. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker enhances the reputation of AHF by serving as a part of a multidisciplinary medial treatment team approach providing a patient a comprehensive care experience. The LCSW is able to help patient’s optimize their quality of life through the use of psychosocial assessments, treatment plans and individual as well as group therapy. The LCSW uses an array of counseling treatment modalities to help a patient achieve their identified goal (s), including medication and medical care compliance.
