Cedar Park Group is hiring a senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a highly specialized clinical supervision and consultation role supporting a critical public health initiative in New York City. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced clinician who is already functioning as a supervisor or senior clinician and brings strong expertise in grief, trauma-informed care, and complex behavioral health support. This is not a direct service role and is not intended for clinicians seeking to transition into supervision. Position Overview As an LCSW Clinical Supervisor / Consultant, you will provide clinical supervision and consultation to LMSW-level staff supporting a program focused on opioid-related loss. This role centers on clinical development, case consultation, reflective support, and helping clinicians manage the emotional impact of trauma-related work. The ideal candidate is a seasoned supervisor with a strong background in grief counseling, trauma-informed practice, and complex case discussion.

Requirements

  • Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State
  • Established experience providing clinical supervision; candidates without supervision experience will not be considered
  • Demonstrated background in grief counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance use-related behavioral health
  • Ability to support advanced case consultation and clinician development in a highly sensitive program environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a medical, public health, or medical-legal setting strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting clinicians working with trauma, loss, or high-acuity behavioral health populations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing clinical supervision to LMSW-level staff
  • Support clinicians working with grief, trauma, and opioid-related loss
  • Address vicarious trauma, burnout, and clinician resilience
  • Guide advanced clinical practice, including transference, countertransference, and case formulation
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment in supervision approach
  • Support high-quality, ethically grounded, trauma-informed supervision practices
