About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker - CRISIS LCSW for a 13-week travel assignment in Sitka, AK 99835. Contract Details Days Start Date: 5/25/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Sitka, AK 99835 Hourly Pay: $ 48.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $1,246.00 Weekly Total Pay: $2,686.00 Vaccine Requirement: Flu vaccine required. Traveler Policy: only accepts traveler profile applications from travelers that live at least 50+ miles away from the facility address they are working at. Rate is all inclusive and client will not be provided housing or flights. This position works directly with patients and their families in providing support, guiding families who have financial and housing needs to available resources, working with state and federal agencies in providing information for placement needs, identifying custodial issues, referring patient in crisis to behavioral health, handles referral and consults from providers in primary care and outlying clinics within scope of responsibilities. This position provides encouragement, coaching, and linkage with essential community services that support each patient’s unique healthcare needs. Must have the ability to do the following: Excellence with mental health evaluations Treatment plan preparation Crisis counseling Exceptional documentation Competence in electronic health records and technology Alaska licensures NABCS Clearance ICPA Clearance

Requirements

  • Must have Alaska LCSW license at time of submittal.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • A Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an inpatient or outpatient healthcare environment in social work is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Interviews patients or their designee to obtain relevant psycho-social information and determine the effect of illness upon the patient/resident and the patient's family.
  • Participates in the development of an interdisciplinary plan of care for patients/residents and/or designee(s). Coordinates the discharge planning process and makes referrals for appropriate home or social services care and equipment or supplies.
  • Provides therapeutic support and education to patients/residents and families; assists patients/residents and families in understanding medical recommendations; makes interventions and professional support referrals as needed.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care conferences as necessary/required.
  • Manages assigned caseload; documents results of psycho-social assessments and plans in the patients' medical record. Documentation is timely and meets regulatory compliance and departmental standards.
  • Other duties as needed to help drive client's vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our values.
