About The Position

Geisinger is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for their Primary Care facility in Mifflintown. This full-time position requires in-person work and offers a $7500 signing bonus for eligible candidates. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing various forms of psychotherapy. The social worker will collaborate with the psychiatry team and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include evaluating ongoing patient needs, providing case management, and engaging in group and individual therapy sessions. Requirements

  • Active PA Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work.
  • Experience in assessment and diagnosis, behavioral therapy management, and healthcare policy compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and abilities and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy as clinically appropriate.
  • Participate in program planning with the psychiatry team and other team members.
  • Evaluate ongoing biopsychosocial needs of patients and determine treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotherapies and case management to assigned patients.
  • Engage as a primary therapist or co-therapist in group therapy.
  • Obtain pertinent data in accordance with program and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with outpatient and inpatient teams for triage evaluation and crisis intervention.
