About The Position

Valley Mountain Regional Center is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated professional to join our team as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Flexible Schedule: This position can be part-time or full-time, whichever works best with your schedule, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments while making a meaningful impact. What You will Do: Clinical Services Expert Conduct psychological assessments, testing, and competency evaluations Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support. Consult with case management, clinical teams, and community services staff. Support Forensic and Community Needs Participate in Legal Services Review Team meetings. Evaluate and monitor specialized residential and day programs as needed. Train and Mentor Staff Provide training to staff, consumers, and providers on psychological assessments and interventions. Assist in developing assessment protocols and monitoring compliance.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Psychology or Educational Psychology from an accredited University.
  • Licensed Psychologist (California Board of Psychology).
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably one year in developmental disabilities.
  • Commitment to advocacy and person-centered services.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in psychological testing, competency evaluations, and autism spectrum disorders is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake, eligibility, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Coordinate and monitor mental health services, including collaboration with county mental health agencies.
  • Provide psychological consultation to case management, clinical teams, and community programs.
  • Maintain documentation, prepare reports, and participate in hearings as needed.
  • Respond to crisis situations and support program planning and evaluation.
