Responsibilities Golden Steps ABA is a Health Care Organization, that delivers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We provide individualized services in the home, in school, and clinics for individuals up to 21 years of age, while working on specific skills and behaviors. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional quality of care. We are seeking both full and part time Clinical Psychologist Providers to conduct diagnostic evaluations for children who may have autism spectrum disorders (ASD). In addition to evaluation and diagnosis, the evaluation process will help to identify a child's specific strengths and weaknesses and guides appropriate recommendations for treatment and intervention. This position is ideal for an individual who wants to make a difference with a growing organization and looking to positively impact the future of ABA! Qualifications A day in the life: Conduct assessments, analyze and interpret data and write evaluation reports. Diagnose and provide treatment recommendations. Provide feedback to clients after evaluations have been completed. Provide training and consultation to BCBA’s or other direct therapy staff. Participate in other administrative and quality improvement initiatives as needed. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements

  • Two-three years’ experience, in which a significant portion of time has been spent in diagnosing ASD; Postdoctoral experience may be included.
  • Experience administering various standardized diagnostic measures, as well as psychological and autism spectrum assessment tools to diagnose and/or rule out autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability.
  • Strong working knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) preferred.
  • Prior experience in completing psychological evaluations for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
  • Training in evaluation tools such as ADOS-2, Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R), the Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO) or other known evidence-based tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and clinical writing skills.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills.
  • PsyD or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology
  • Licensed with the state of (State) as a psychologist.
  • Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
  • Bending and squatting for up to an hour per day.
  • Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend kneel, squat sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
  • Kids are fast, so the ability to follow a child without restrictions throughout the center (sometimes at a rapid pace) is needed.
