About The Position

The position works closely with the Practice Administrator, colleagues and clients and is responsible for overseeing the clinical care and coordination of treatment. Carrying an individual direct care caseload as assigned and working closely with the outpatient department management chain-of-command, this position serves as a clinical lead by providing group and individual direct clinical supervision of clinicians and services as well as providing oversight and management of clinical concerns and needs on the unit. The position uses their clinical expertise to review and ensure services offered and supporting documentation is of sound quality and is responsible for initiation, development, and delivery of performance goals and key performance indicators with clinical and other support staff to ensure high standards of care are regularly provided to those we serve.

Requirements

  • Master's in Human Services and 3 years of clinical experience with ability to supervise staff towards licensure.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited college or university in a recognized clinical discipline including a clinical practicum.
  • Licensed as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist or Psychologist in the state of PA.
  • Responsible for maintaining all requirements for licensure.
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
  • Clearances: Acts 33/34/114.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to persons served, accounting for 50% of the Clinical Lead's time.
  • Ensure clinical quality by providing oversight of colleagues, creating and implementing clinical trainings, and auditing electronic health records.
  • Provide clinical supervision to assigned Adult Outpatient Clinicians and/or Clinical Interns, offering technical support to improve clinical skills.
  • Review, approve, and sign off on client treatment plans.
  • Plan and facilitate Clinical Treatment Team Meetings for case reviews and therapeutic interventions.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and document MD case consultations.
  • Ensure coordination of care among internal and external treatment team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
