About The Position
The position requires a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-Intern) who is in good standing with DSHS. The counselor will be responsible for testing, screening, and evaluating residents for drug and alcohol abuse and addiction. The role includes administering psycho-social histories, drug and alcohol profiles, screenings, and evaluations, as well as maintaining chronological records. The counselor will develop and implement treatment plans, including the twelve-step recovery program, and conduct group counseling sessions. Additionally, the counselor will prepare written evaluations and report the progress of residents every 30 days, prepare discharge summaries for exiting residents, and assist residents in the aftercare program.
