About The Position

The Auto Club Group is seeking a Field Insurance Service Representative who will provide a high level of support to the Insurance Agency and members by servicing existing insurance accounts. Responsibilities include performing retention calls, processing applications, renewals, amendments, resolving customer problems, and selling membership and financial products. The representative will provide price quotes on all insurance products, take insurance payments, respond to customer inquiries, and promote cross-sale opportunities. The role also involves conducting outbound promotional and retention calls, participating in team environments, and fulfilling various customer service tasks.

Requirements

  • A Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments.
  • Successful completion of Customer Service, Insurance and Membership training within 6 months of hire.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in providing customer-focused service and processing insurance applications.
  • Ability to respond to billing and coverage questions.
  • Experience in promoting the sales of insurance products and services.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of insurance terminology and general insurance regulations.
  • Experience with insurance systems and/or membership systems (e.g., PPS, POS, IMS, IPM).
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of support to the Insurance Agency and members by servicing existing insurance accounts.
  • Perform retention calls, process applications, renewals, amendments, and resolve customer problems.
  • Sell membership and financial products (credit cards).
  • Provide price quotes on all insurance products and factor in all applicable rules and discounts.
  • Take insurance payments (initial, installment, lapse, or reinstatement).
  • Respond to customers’ insurance inquiries and explain product features.
  • Recognize and promote cross-sale opportunities.
  • Provide customer assistance through sales processing activities.
  • Conduct outbound promotional and retention call activities.
  • Participate in office events to generate insurance revenue and improve member awareness.
  • Fulfill, maintain, and service insurance policies.
  • Prepare insurance proposals, policy changes, transfers, and billing clarification.
  • Contact members regarding renewal of delinquent memberships and late premium payments.
  • Verify new business applications.
  • Process insurance and membership payments.
  • Update electronic member information and maintain filing systems.
