About The Position

The Licensed Customer Service Representative at AAA The Auto Club Group plays a crucial role in promoting the company's products and services while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This position serves as the face of the branch, providing essential support to members related to insurance policies, travel services, and membership products. The role offers opportunities for career advancement within various departments of the organization.

Requirements

  • Active State Property & Casualty License or ability to attain within 90 days of start date.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience providing high-level customer-focused service.
  • Experience servicing insurance policies and processing applications, renewals, and amendments.
  • Experience responding to billing and coverage questions.
  • Experience promoting the sale of insurance products and/or travel and membership products.
  • Experience making outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of insurance and travel terminology.
  • Understanding of general insurance and/or travel regulations.
  • Familiarity with underwriting procedures and sales regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience with travel systems (e.g., Focal Point, Viewpoint) and/or insurance systems (e.g., PPS, POS, IMS).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations for monetary transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level support services to members related to sales and service functions, including servicing insurance policies and processing applications, renewals, and amendments.
  • Generate leads and update members on travel and insurance specials, providing travel information as needed.
  • Perform cashiering services, including taking insurance payments and processing travel and membership payments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer to agents when appropriate.
  • Assist Travel and Insurance Agents during peak periods with administrative support.
  • Conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel products.
  • Participate in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service.
  • Resolve member/customer complaints and seek management assistance when necessary.
  • Participate in office events to generate revenue and improve member awareness of products.
