Positions within this job family provide professional behavioral health services, including assessments and psychotherapy, to support recovery and wellness within a designated caseload or population, in a state agency, institution, or mental health facility or clinic. At this level employees supervise designated staff to provide the general oversight and direction of clinical care to a designated caseload or population and to ensure the ongoing development of staff to perform high quality, integrated, comprehensive, and individualized care. Directs operations and services to achieve the individual's self-identified goals and the organization-defined recovery and wellness outcomes for individuals in services. Ensures the provision of culturally and linguistically responsive services consistent with the priorities and values of the organization, giving priority to reducing disparities in access to services. Performs all required supervisory and administrative duties in compliance with agency policies and all applicable state and federal rules and laws. Provides professional behavioral health services, including assessments and psychotherapy, in support of recovery and wellness. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to address the physical and behavioral health needs of individuals in services. Operated by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Carl Albert Community Mental Health Center (CACMHC) is a fully accredited 15-bed psychiatric hospital and outpatient clinic. Other CACMHC offices located in Southeastern Oklahoma are—Holdenville Satellite, Heavener Satellite, Hugo Satellite, Idabel Satellite, Stigler Satellite, Atoka Satellite and Ada PACT.
