About The Position
At Merakey, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses. We are currently seeking a Licensed Behavior Specialist to join our team in West Lawn, PA. This role is pivotal in advancing the quality of care we provide, as it involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to assess, design, and implement recovery-oriented treatment and support plans. The Licensed Behavior Specialist will utilize a person-centered approach to cater to the unique needs of both children and adults, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support that promotes their well-being and development. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering intensive therapeutic services across various settings, including community living arrangements, schools, and natural support residences. Your expertise will guide the development and monitoring of behavioral support interventions, and you will work closely with external behavior support professionals to ensure comprehensive care. You will also provide individual and group treatment, selecting appropriate therapeutic modalities based on the specific needs outlined in each individual's treatment plan. A key aspect of your role will involve collecting, evaluating, and presenting behavioral data through a functional behavioral assessment process. You will also conduct training sessions related to the implementation of person-centered plans, equipping team members and stakeholders with the knowledge and skills necessary to support our clients effectively.
