About The Position

As a Licensed Beauty Advisor, you will impact clients every day by guiding them on their beauty journey at the Beauty Studio and beyond. This role involves more than just selling products; it's about making someone’s day through teaching, inspiration, and play. This position is ideal for individuals who are licensed, service-driven, and enjoy connecting with clients.

Requirements

• An active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are being performed
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/hours (15-29 hrs/week for Part Time)
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Punctuality and consistent attendance

Responsibilities

• Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products
• Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu
• Stay informed about all beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients
• Maintain active licenses and always uphold health and safety protocols
• Help promote a culture of openness where everyone feels empowered
• Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience for all
