They should be able to identify both visible and hidden damage , as well as potential safety concerns that may arise from the collision. · Proficiency in using collision estimating software is crucial for a collision estimator . They should be able to input the relevant data and generate detailed estimates using industry standard software programs. · Effective communication skills are essential for a collision estimator . They need to be able to clearly explain the repair process, cost breakdown, and any additional services required to customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians. They should also be able to answer questions and address concerns in a professional and customer-friendly manner. · Collision estimator should be able to provide estimates in a timely manner.
