Based in New York City, our firm is made of engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities that surround us. About the Role: EnTech is seeking a " Licensed Architect " to join our team in New York. This role involves leading architectural design and coordination efforts by interpreting drawings, ensuring compliance with operational and technical requirements, and developing complete project deliverables. It also requires collaboration with stakeholders, site assessments, and strong knowledge of construction to manage risks, maintain quality standards, and support project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • NYS Registered Architect (RA) license with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microstation CADD software and experience with Architectural drawings, including developing construction phasing plans.
  • Experience coordinating/managing architectural experts and entities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook) and ability to generate complex anaytical reports.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, problem solving, and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience working in NYCT projects or related subway systsem enviornments

Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings and specs to create reports and ensure designs meet all requirements
  • Review designs and conduct site visits to identify risks and minimize impact on operations
  • Perform and oversee design work, including feasibility studies using data, surveys, and existing conditions.
  • Coordinate with architurectural experts, staff, and external stakeholders to support overall project delivery.
  • Prepare drawings, documents, permits, and full project packages.
  • Follow quality standards while managing project controls, administrative tasks, and applying relevant construction knowledge.
