About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Licensed Electrical Apprentice to join their electrical division. This role requires the apprentice to complete a minimum of 2,000 hours of “on-the-job” training for each year of their apprenticeship program. Hunt Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical, technology, and infrastructure contractor headquartered in Salt Lake City, with additional branch locations in Denver, CO, St. George, UT, and Boise, ID. The company has experienced significant growth since 1986 and plans to continue expanding its services and markets. Requirements

Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program.
Have an active state apprentice license.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

The ability to stand for long periods of time.
The ability to climb ladders several times in a row.
The ability to work with hands above your head with tools.
The ability to lift tools and equipment above your head several times.
The ability to lift up to 100lbs.
The ability to stretch, bend, stand, climb, and move continuously.
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.
Be a self-starter and be dependable.
