About The Position

Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Licensed Electrical Apprentice to join their electrical division. The Licensed Electrical Apprentice must complete the number of hours required for each year in the program, with a minimum of 2,000 hours of “on-the-job” training for each year of their apprenticeship. Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to climb ladders several times in a row
Ability to work with hands above your head with tools
Ability to lift tools and equipment above your head several times
Ability to lift up to 100lbs
Ability to stretch, bend, stand, climb, and move continuously
Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program
Have an active state apprentice license
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

Complete the number of hours required for each year in the program (a minimum of 2,000 hours of “on-the-job” training for each year of his / her apprenticeship)
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude
Actively contributes to a positive team environment
Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours
Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code
Be a self-starter and be dependable
Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager
