About The Position

The License Technician at the Photo ID Center is responsible for providing efficient and courteous customer service to all individuals who enter the center. This role involves ensuring that customers have the proper identification and documentation, managing the operations of the work site, and maintaining accountability for consumables. The technician will process customers promptly and without discrimination, issue finished products, and record transactions as required. The position requires adherence to security protocols and the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Must have a qualifying disability that meets the criteria for state or federal set aside contracts.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the security of the Photo License Center premises and photographic equipment.
• Processes customers in a pleasant, professional, efficient, and customer service-oriented manner.
• Accurately provides basic information related to driver licensing procedures and policies.
• Requests and reviews proper forms of identification from customers.
• Operates camera equipment to create photographic licenses or identification cards.
• Completes, reviews, and prepares paperwork for submission to appropriate parties.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the center.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks related to cleaning the equipment.
• Attends all mandatory training seminars.
• Promotes an environment of workplace safety.
