Now Hiring Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse Territory: Pierce County Hourly: $39-$42 Type : Fulltime Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Home Health Acute Care Patient LPN Training provided. Flexible work schedules: PRN, Part-Time or Full-Time, 10-hour shifts available, 30-to-40-hour work week, benefits offered for Part-Time and Full-Time employment. Learning opportunities: Wound Certification, Oasis Certification, MedBridge Account, many learning opportunities available for PRN, Part-Time and Full-Time employees. Growth Opportunities: growth opportunities to become an RN, Intake Coordinator, and other opportunities. The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
  • Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the State(s) of planned practice.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
  • Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of geriatric population and their common needs and concerns.
  • Capable of prolonged or considerable walking or standing.
  • Able to lift, position and/or transfer patients.
  • Able to lift supplies and equipment.
  • Capable of considerable reaching, stooping bending, kneeling, and/or crouching.
  • Possesses visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) to two (2) years nursing experience preferred.
  • Community health or medical/surgical experience is preferred.
