As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working in our inpatient treatment program, you will assist in providing healthcare to patients suffering from addiction. Working within our Detox and Residential treatment programs, you will play a vital role in our patients recovery journey. Our Licensed Practical Nurses also work a weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

  • Current Ohio LPN Nursing License
  • CPR or Basic Life Support Certification or willing to complete certification
  • Knowledge of Chemical Dependency preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with staff of other clinical departments within the Agency to afford a team approach to client care promoting continuity and unified goal setting.
  • Assists the Physician as needed in the performance of special medical procedures.
  • Performs Medical Histories and Nursing Assessments.
  • Maintains clinical competence and enough job knowledge to perform all nurse functions.
  • Performs special procedures such as Electrocardiograms, Venipuncture, Cultures, Suture Removal, TB Skin Testing, Etc.
  • Maintains CPR/First Aid Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure/Chemical Hygiene Training, and CEU’s.
  • Consults with the Medical Director regarding judgments and effective decisions related to patient care.
