About The Position

License Manager Key Role: Manage sof tware assets and licenses for enterprise IT systems. Maintain responsibility for gathering requirements for planning, organizing, and implementing enterprise-wide technology infrastructure and configuration management functions. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise , and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in sof tware asset or license management in a federal or DoD environment
Experience managing the full lifecycle of sof tware licenses across the enterprise, including license discovery, entitlement tracking, renewal coordination, audit readiness, and compliance enforcement
Experience working with procurement teams, vendors, and cybersecurity stakeholders to optimize licensing usage and reduce costs while maintaining full compliance with DoD mandates
Experience with license optimization tools such as Flexera
Experience with sof tware license inventories
Knowledge of sof tware asset management and sof tware asset management tools and technologies
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

Experience in the configuration management process, including configuration identification, control, audit, and status, DOD configuration management policies , procedures, review cycles, instructions and standards, and engineering change proposal evaluations
Experience with Documentation Management applications such as Confluence
Experience working in Sof tware Factory
