About The Position
As a LPN Nurse at Edgewood, you’ll set the tone for the entire clinical department. We are currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and fun-loving individual to be responsible for providing excellent resident care, supporting our staff and facility while helping create a "home-like" ambience.
Requirements
- Current state license of a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Knowledge of standards of nursing practice and awareness of standards for compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Understanding of the assisted living rules and regulations and/or willingness/capability to learn.
- Professional and courteous to all residents, families and staff
- Previous experience supervising staff
- Passion and drive for helping others
- Edgewood offers of employment are contingent upon passing pre-employment screening.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain appropriate resident care
- Assess current and prospective residents
- Participate in care conferences with families
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies
- Hire, train, and supervise clinical staff
- Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies
- Needs to be comfortable and proficient with computer charting and able to learn the company's clinical software program, RTasks
