About The Position

The Licensed Cardio-Vascular Tech will perform advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures. This role includes providing peri-procedural care and education for patients, assisting cardiologists and other specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, and maintaining records and documentation for procedures. The position requires consistent performance of duties and full training in both the Cath lab and EP lab.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Health Science with a major in Radiology and/or Cardiovascular Technology.
• Licensure as an Amer Reg of Radiologic Tech.
• Licensed Radiology Technologist certification.
• BLS – Basic Life Support certification.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
• 1 - 3 years of job-related experience in Special Procedures, Cardiovascular Laboratory, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography.
• Conduct electrophysiologic studies and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Implant cardiac devices and provide peri-procedural care and education for patients.
• Assist cardiologists and other specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain records and documentation for procedures.
