At an elementary school with an outdoor learning focus, employee will partner in a community of learners to create experiential opportunities, connect learners to the natural world, and foster an empowered community of citizens. Will be responsible for: Planning and facilitating units of study through which students engage in experiential learning in the classroom and in nature Enhancing learning by making connections to the natural world so students feel comfortable outside and become stewards for the environment Building relationships that foster internal and external community connections to enrich connections to the outdoors.
