Requirements

• Successful completion of some college.
• Successfully demonstrated experience working with the public in high-pressure situations.
• Successfully demonstrated ability to perform work independently with speed and accuracy in an automated environment.
• Successfully demonstrated reliability and accuracy.
• Some knowledge of PC, MAC, MS Office, Google Workspace.
• Skills in accountability and professionalism, customer service, collaboration and teamwork, attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Provides public service to library patrons, including working with special collections.
• Fulfills reader requests and provides inventory control for research materials.
• Physical delivery and reshelving of items.
• Checking in and out items via the ILS catalog and inventory software.
• Assists in planning and implementing collection maintenance projects.
• Instructs patrons on the use of the internet, computer applications, and other Library services.
• Fulfills electronic document delivery requests.
• Ensures patrons follow library policies and procedures.
• Operates the playback console, playback devices, and supporting equipment.
• Retrieves and reshelves media materials.
• Performs other related duties as required.
