About The Position
The Library Specialist, Collections Archivist at Macalester College is responsible for essential collection management functions within the Dewitt Wallace Library. This role involves processing, accessioning, creating archival finding aids, and preserving archival materials. The archivist assists the College Archivist with daily activities, evaluates potential new collections, provides reference services, and supervises student assistants. This full-time position is integral to the Collection Development and Discovery team, ensuring the preservation of historically valuable materials documenting the College's history since 1874.
