About The Position

The Dolph Briscoe Center for American History at UT Austin is seeking student assistants for the Library Page position in Reference Services. This role is open to both WorkStudy and Non-WorkStudy students. The center is a leading history research facility that collects, preserves, and provides access to documentary and material culture evidence related to Texas and U.S. history. The position is expected to continue until May 31, 2026, with an immediate start date. The work schedule is flexible, with a maximum of 19 hours per week, primarily on Tuesdays and/or Wednesday/Thursday mornings.

  • Must be able to work during the fall semester

Responsibilities

  • Retrieving and shelving materials in various formats
  • Circulation of materials stored offsite
  • Maintaining vertical files articles
  • Filing and data entry
  • Special archival and library projects
  • Other duties as assigned
