About The Position
The Wethersfield Public Schools partner with the community and families in fostering our students' ongoing education in a safe and engaging learning environment. Our schools are demographically diverse and are characterized by respectful behavior, trusting relationships, caring educators/administrators/staff and continuous learning. The Library Media Specialist is responsible for the instruction of students and daily operations of the library program at the school level along with school-wide improvement areas. This individual will manage the school's library; curate, teach, and implement resources; guide students in information literacy and inquiry; collaborate to develop innovative lessons with staff; provide leadership in the integration of technology with instruction; and develop engaging programs to support and extend the curriculum.
