About The Position

The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2025-2026 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Library and Information Science department. Courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar’s Office schedule of classes at https://www.du.edu/registrar/course/scheduleofclasses.html . This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in relevant content area (e.g., Library & Information Science or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program)
Two years of professional experience in a library, archive, museum, or other information services setting.

Teaching experience at the graduate level.

Responsibilities

Teach in person or online once a week.
Create and maintain course Canvas container for the onsite courses.
Meet with students as needed to support their success.
Provide assignment feedback and grades to students in a timely manner.
Respond to emails from students and program leadership within 48 business hours.
Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed.
