About The Position

Holy Spirit Catholic School, located at 4382 Duchene Lane in the Columbus suburb of Whitehall, is seeking a Library Aide for the 2026/2027 school year.
An elementary school library aide in a Catholic school assists the school librarian by helping to maintain the library, manage circulation, and support instruction while fostering a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.
The role may also involve promoting Catholic values, assisting with book fairs, and organizing displays.

Requirements

• Hold an appropriate aide license or be eligible to obtain one before starting to work
• Current satisfactory FBI and BCI background checks
• Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training [https://columbuscatholic.org/safe]

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working in a school or library setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills (e.g., MS Office, circulation software).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50lb and move, stand, or kneel to shelve books.
• High school diploma or equivalent is generally required.
