The Discovery Systems Manager provides leadership, coordination, and oversight for the management, integration, and continual optimization of Boise State University’s Library Services Platform (LSP) and related systems. This role ensures that the University’s open-source FOLIO environment operates as a robust, secure, and innovative foundation that supports teaching, learning, and research. The LSP functions as a mission-critical, enterprise-level system that integrates with campus authentication, learning management, finance, and research infrastructures to provide seamless access to information resources across the university. The incumbent uses automation and AI-enabled tools to increase system efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve discovery and data access. As the primary liaison between Albertsons Library, the Office of Information Technology (OIT), and external partners, this position ensures that library systems align with Boise State’s goals for innovation, interoperability, and data-driven decision-making.
