About The Position
Ferris State University seeks an experienced, collaborative and services-oriented leader to position university libraries for ongoing excellence in student success. The incumbent is responsible for the efficient management and direction of the main library located in Big Rapids, Michigan and the additional library location in Grand Rapids, Michigan and will require some travel to that location. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of emerging technologies, federal, state and institutional requirements, library best practices, and be guided by the university and college strategic priorities in the development and effective coordination of library operations and services. This is a 12-month, administrative position reporting to the Dean of University College. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a competitive benefits package. The anticipated start date for this position is August 2025.
