About The Position

The John M. Lilley Library at Penn State Behrend seeks an evening/weekend, part-time library assistant. Summer semester hours are Mondays-Tuesdays, 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m. with alternating Fridays, 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m. and, fall/spring semesters, Sundays-Tuesdays, 2:00p.m.-10:00p.m. Hours are subject to change; therefore, an ability to work a flexible schedule is required.

Responsibilities

• Staffing the circulation desk
• Answering basic informational and directional questions
• Processing in-house and interlibrary loan materials
• Training & supervising evening/weekend student staff
• Completing special projects as assigned
