About The Position
The AMDA-NY Library is looking for students to join our team and help support the entire AMDA community. Library student workers play a vital role in the library’s many services and serve as a first point of contact for library users. Open to all semesters.
Requirements
- Good academic standing
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good computer and technology skills
Responsibilities
- Ensure patrons follow library policies and procedures
- Answering questions via email, phone, and in-person
- Checking materials in and out
- Helping patrons search for, find, and locate library materials
- Reshelving books, music scores, plays, and DVDs
- Teaching community members how to use the digital scanner and printers/copiers
- Keeping the library neat and organized
