The City of Menlo Park is accepting applications for the positions of Library Assistant I and II in the Library and Community Services Department. The City of Menlo Park recently opened the Belle Haven Community Campus, a state-of-the-art facility that houses a community center, gymnasium, aquatics center, senior center, youth center, and branch library. Under immediate supervision, a Library Assistant I provides customer services support for library operations and programs including circulation, collections, branch library, and program support; provides direct service and assistance to library patrons; and performs related work as required. A Library Assistant II provides the above performance under general supervision, and tasks given to the Library Assistant II will be more varied and complex, including technical services and specialized library functionality.
