About The Position
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties in providing the students and staff a professional library and media center, including assuming a lead role in the school's Accelerated Reading program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of children's literature and reading programs.
- Ability to create engaging library programs and activities.
- Proficient in using library management software and technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and students.
