About The Position
The Librarian/Library Media Specialist is responsible for functioning as a leader in the learning community of the school by collaborating with faculty and staff to prepare students with information and technological literacy skills for lifelong independent learning. This role involves administering the library/media program in accordance with professional library standards and local and state policies. Responsibilities include supervising students, answering reference questions, serving as a readers' advisor, instructing individuals and classes, serving as a curriculum resource for staff, and cataloging materials.
